Scholarships worth VND450million awarded to needy pupils

On the occasion of the 2018-2019 new academic year,  Kim Oanh foundation, on September 5, offered gifts, scholarships to pupils with difficult circumstances in Thua Thien-Hue, Tay Ninh and Binh Duong provinces.

In Binh Duong province, the foundation awarded 37 scholarships worth VND5million each to pupils at Ben Cat high school, Tay Nam high school and the continuing education center in Binh Duong province. It also gave 20 scholarships and 100 gifts with a total value of VND60million for pupils at Dien Hien secondary school, donated a mess hall worth VND150million to Phu Da primary school and supported VND45million for Phu Da preschool to buy tops for kids in Thua Thien-Hue province. In Tay Ninh province, it offered 100 scholarships worth VND50million to pupils at Long Chu B primary school and Long Phuoc secondary school in Ben Cau district.

It is known that the charity program of the foundation has a total value of VND450million. The same day, the foundation also donated VND400million to Thua Thien-Hue province’s Psychiatric Center.
