TDM’s economy continues reaching comprehensive growth
On the afternoon of December 11, the Executive Board of the 14th TDM city Party Committee convened its 14th (open) session, in attendance of Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.
Reportedly, the town’s socio-economic situation continued developing and reaching positive results in all fields. The town’s industrial production value was estimated at VND26.3trillion, up 25.9% compared to 2016. The town’s total retail sales revenue of commodities and services was estimated at more than VND122.78trillion, up 32.4% compared to the same period last year. The town also paid more attention to urban rejuvenation and cultural-sports movements, basically meeting locals’ demand for entertainment.
In terms of political building, the city’s Party Standing Committee focused on directing the implementation of Party building, the Party & State’s resolutions and directives; bent on leading the maintenance of economic growth, care for policy beneficiaries, creating positive changes in all socio-cultural fields, ensuring political security, social safety and order.
In 2018, the city will concentrate on removing obstacles, accelerate economic development as oriented: services-industry and agriculture; attach special importance to fostering services, especially hi-tech ones, ensuring sustainable and reasonable economic growth.
