Tet gifts given for needy people

On January 12, provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Red Cross Society and Association for Victims of Agent Orange (AO)/Dioxin jointly donated Tet gifts to 9 poor households, 130 AO victims and 220 blind people with total value of more than VND215million, funded by Taiwan’s Tzu Chi charity society.

*The same day, Dong Hoa ward’s Youth Union and Red Cross Society in Di An town held a program giving Tet gifts for workers living away from home with difficult circumstances. Accordingly, the organizers donated 30 Tet gifts worth VND300,000 each to the above targeted people.
