Three-year implementation of “All people consolidate to build civilized urban areas” campaign under review

Early November 13, Thu Dau Mot city’s Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) held a conference to preliminarily sum up the three-year implementation of the “All people consolidate to build civilized urban areas” campaign and 15 years of the great national unity festival.

After three-year implementation, the campaign received the high consensus of people from all strata and the attention of authorities at all levels in leadership work. The city discovered many outstanding organizations and individuals through activities of the campaign. There were 98% of households winning the “cultural” title; more than 85% of quarters recognized as cultural ones; 268 models, clubs, groups established and maintained…

The city also mobilized more than VND3.9billion to the local Fund for the Poor; built 42 “great unity” houses…In addition, 100% of quarters in the city organized the great national unity festival with more than 50,000 gifts worth VND5.3billion offered to disadvantaged people.
