Trade-service growth remains stable

According to provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the province’s total retail sales revenue of commodities and services in March, 2020 was more than VND20.4trillion, up 1.5% and 9.5% compared to the previous month and the same period, respectively.

Thus, the figure in the first three months of the year was more than VND62.1trillion, up 11.7% against the same period last year.

The province’s consumer price index over the past months surged 5.14% compared to the same period last year. Of these, commodities increased by 12.24%; services by 24.68%; eating-drinking services by 9.58%...

Also during the period, the whole province had a total of 10 supermarkets and 200 convenient stores participating in the local price stabilization program, ensuring adequate supply of essential commodities for the local people.
