Traditional sports festival absorbs 548 athletes
The Trade Union and Youth Union of Dau Tieng Rubber One-Member Co.Ltd. have jointly kicked off the traditional sports festival 2018, with the participation of 548 athletes from 15 units.
This year’s sports festival took place animatedly with 6 events: athletics, long jump, swimming, Chinese chess and tug-of-war. As a result, Long Tan rubber plantation took the lead at the sports festival, followed by Long Hoa rubber plantation and Minh Thanh rubber plantation. The organizers also awarded a total of 48 sets of medals and certificates of merit to outstanding teams at the sports festival.
This was also an activity in celebration of the 43rd anniversary of the Dau Tieng liberation day (March 13, 1975-March 13, 2018), creating an useful playground for the company’s staff while being the foundation for the company to sort out outstanding athletes for sports tournaments organized by the province and sector.
