*TDM removes isolation barriers in Hiep Thanh residential area 3

Early June 11, a delegation of leaders from Thu Dau Mot (TDM) city, led by Nguyen Van Dong, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of TDM city’s Party Committee visited, encouraged and gave support for the forces on duty at the isolation points in Hiep Thanh residential area 3.

The delegation highly appreciated the organization and coordination between the forces in implementing the task of ensuring Covid-19 prevention and control; maintaining security and order maintenance and supporting people in the isolation area to receive necessities supported by relatives and donors.

After that, the delegation visited, encouraged, checked and supervised the coordination between the forces at the quarantine checkpoint of Phu Cuong bridge. The delegation spoke highly the coordination between the forces. Although this is the first time the city has set up a checkpoint to control Covid-19 pandemic at the gateway adjacent to Ho Chi Minh city, the local implementation of pandemic control tasks at the checkpoint has met the set requirements, thanks to reasonable assignment and arrangement of personnel and synchronous coordination between the forces.

* At 9 am on the same day, Nguyen Thu Cuc, Chairwoman of TDM city’s People's Committee, Head of the city’s Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control announced a decision on lifting medical isolation, blockade barriers for a part of groups 103, 104 belonging to Hiep Thanh 3 residential area in Hiep Thanh ward.

According to the city’s Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, the removal was implemented after all the F1 and  F2 cases linked to a Covid-19 patient in the area tested negative for the virus.

The decision also continues assigning Hiep Thanh ward’s Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control to continue closely supervising the observance of measures against the pandemic under the Prime Minister’s Directive No.15 with related restrictions issued by the province and the city after detecting a Covid-19 case in Hiep Thanh  residential area 3.
