Visiting, offering gifts to anti-Covid-19 forces and people in medical isolation areas

On the afternoon of June 4, provincial Red Cross Society in collaboration with provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Military Command visited and presented gifts to forces directly engaging in Covid-19 prevention-control and those living in the medical isolation and blockade area in Dong Hoa ward’s Tan Hoa quarter in Di An city.

Attending the event were Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Thi Le Trinh, Chairwoman of provincial Red Cross Society.

In the visiting place, Mr. Loc and leader of provincial Red Cross Society presented gifts, including essential necessities, medical masks, hand sanitizer..., to Dong Hoa ward. The ward will distribute these gifts to forces directly taking part in Covid-19 prevention and control and thosing living in medical isolation, blockage areas in Tan Hoa quarter. The total value of these gifts is around VND140 million from businesses, donors via provincial Red Cross Society to support the local Covid-19 prevention and control.

On behalf of provincial leaders, he acknowledged the efforts by the ward in implementing measures against the  pandemic as well as ensuring a stable life for people. He also extended best regards to the local forces directly engaging in Covid-19 prevention and control and those living in the local medical isolation and blockade area while encouraging them to set their mind at rest, joining hands to well perform Covid-19  prevention and control, contributing to helping the province soon curb the pandemic.
