War Veterans ‘Societies at all levels actively take part in new-style rural construction

Under the National Target Program on New-Style Rural Construction, provincial War Veterans ‘Societies at all levels realized many practical activities over the past time.

In 2019 alone, they mobilized members to donate more than 3,400 square meters and contribute nearly VND700million to upgrading more than 75,000 square meters of rural roads. They also got involved in tending flowers at the monumental temples to martyrs and cleaning up streets. In addition, thousands of members also dredged nearly 90,000 meters of canals.
