Works in celebration of 13th national Party congress

Over the past time, Binh Duong province started construction of significant works in celebration of the 13^th national Party congress, greatly contributing to the local socio-economic development.

One of the province’s striking works towards the country’s great holidays is the street and bridge work connecting the province with Tay Ninh. The construction of the work commenced in October, 2020 with total investment of more than VND369billion. It is expected to be completed after 15 months of construction.

Mai Hung Dung, member of provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee said that once being completed, the work will contribute to promoting the economic and tourism development of the two localities while creating connectivity between Tay Ninh, Binh Duong and other localities in the southern economic key zone.

The street from Tan Thanh township to Tam Lap bridge in Tan Dinh commune invested by North Tan Uyen district’s People’s Committee is also one of major works to welcome the 11^th provincial Party congress and the 13^th national Party congress. The work has a total length of more than 9km with total cost of VND725billion and is expected for completion after 60 months of construction. It belongs to the North Tan Uyen-Phu Giao-Bau Bang main street with a total length of 47 km. Once being fulfilled, it will hold an important role in creating connectivity between North Tan Uyen-Phu Giao-Bau Bang districts, aiming to better serving people’s demand for traveling and goods transportation, making a motivation for socio-economic development of North Tan Uyen district in particular and of Binh Duong in general.

Ben Cat town has just held a ceremony starting construction of Do bridge over Thi Tinh river in An Dien commune. This is also one of the province’s significant works welcoming the 13^th Party congress. The construction of the bridge commenced on January 11. The bridge is designed to be 165 meters long, 20 meters wide and to have four lanes upon completion, connecting DT749 street with national highway 13

Once being completed, the bridge will contribute to easing traffic congestion, facilitating people’s travelling and goods transporation from Tay Ninh to Binh Duong. Its investment cost is more than VND213billion, including VND125billion from provincial State budget, VND70billion from Ben Cat town’s State budget and more than VND17billion from Thuan Loi Development and Investment Company, the investor of the work.

Nguyen Trong An, Chairman of Ben Cat town’s People’s Committee said that as planned, the new Do bridge over Thi Tinh river aims to ease congestion in inner town, contributing to beautifying the area along Thi Tinh river, accelebrating the urban development in the western region of the town…

Towards the 13^th national Party congress, provincial War Veterans’Association has just donated 2 “comrade” houses to the family if Ho Van Hy in Thanh An commune’s Thanh Tan hamlet in Dau Tieng district and the family of Nguyen Van Luom in Lai Hung commune’s Lai Khe hamlet in Bau Bang district. Pham Tuong Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial War Veterans’Association said that the program of building “comrade” houses from donors has helped war veterans in need of houses stabilze their lives, thereby contributing to the local sustainable poverty reduction. This is also a practical work in celebration of the 13^th national Party congress…
