Huynh Van Rang, 83, in Lai Thieu ward, Thuan An town set a new record in the Conquer Mount Fansipan climbing in Lao Cai Province after 3 three times of conquering this mountain. Vietnam Record Organization in Binh Duong granted a record certificate to Rang.  

Rang’s record is one of Binh Duong’s 12 records recognized as local record. At the age of 83, the old man discovers Fansipan Mount’s top.

In the first time in 2007, the old man conquered this mountain at the age of 77. Till May, 2010, he continued climbing this mountain at the age of 80. And on June 19, 2013, he again conquered this mountain at the age of 83.

Aside from climbing this mountain, Rang climbs artificial mountains for 3 consecutive times on Aug. 24, 2013 with the height of 16 meters at Phan Dinh Phung Sport and Gymnastics Center in HCMC.
