Vietnam Football Federation and Park Hang Seo are coming to national championship to watch matches of the V-League, the First Nations Cup, to look for and select elite players into the list of Vietnam Olympic team for the 18th Asiad Games 2018.

Asiad Games 18 will take place from August 18 to September 2 in Indonesia, where male football players must be under the age of U23 and plus 3 players from 23 years or older. According to the rules, coach Park Hang Seo is choosing the 3 players over 23 years old. The candidates are: Nguyen Ngoc Hai, Ho Khac Ngoc (SLNA), Nguyen Van Quyet (Hanoi) ... In which, Becamex BD has 4 nominees: attacker Nguyen Anh Duc, Nguyen Tien Linh; midfielder, left back Nguyen Thanh Thao and midfielder To Van Vu.
