EIU’s student wins the 3rd prize at the national student informatics Olympiad 2013

The Eastern International University (EIU) said that Nguyen Manh Phuc, the student of EIU won the third prize at the 22nd Olympiad in Informatics for Vietnamese students held at the central city of Da Nang.

The event was held by the Vietnam Association of Informatics, the Vietnam Students Association and the Ministry of Education and Training in a bid to encourage the movement of informatics learning and research and creation of informatics talents.

This contest has been annually held since 1992 with participation of numerous students of universities and colleges nationwide.

In 2013, the 22nd Olympiad in Informatics for Vietnamese students is combined with the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM/ICPC), gathering more than 500 informatics students from 71 local universities and colleges and 15 teams from the Asian universities such as Korea, HongKong, China and Indonesia.
