The Speaker of the Finnish Parliamentary, Sauli Väinämö Niinistö, arrived in Hanoi on January 10, beginning an official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Phu Trong.

He is accompanied by a number of senior parliamentary officials in charge of friendship parliamentarian groups, external relations, legal affairs, trade, health care, labour and social affairs.

During the four-day visit, he is scheduled to hold talks with Mr Trong and meet with other Vietnamese leaders.
