Get-together for Binh Duong’s Karate delegation with excellent performance in 29th Sea Games

On the afternoon of August 26, provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a get-together for the local athletes belonging to the national Karatedo team that had good performance in the 29^th Southeast Asian (Sea) Games.

In the 29^th Sea Games, Minh Phung of Binh Duong won two gold medals in the men’s over 75-kg weight combat event and in the men team’s Kumite event. Thanh Duy of Binh Duong also grasped two gold medals in the men team’s event and men’s over 60-kg weight event.

Nguyen Phu Yen, Deputy Director of provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism chaired the get-together. At the get-together, he also informed the athletes of a training plan for them as well as bonus policies for them from sponsors.
