Over the last five years, the joint collaboration between the two agencies, which is called the Vietnam Blended Learning Program, has helped Vietnam governmental agencies and social organizations to better utilize information and communications technologies, contributing to a more skillful, knowledgeable and better connected workforce.

With small grants of up to 30,000 USD per project, the Program aims to provide Vietnamese capacity building projects with innovative learning methodology and access to national and international professional networks.

Last year, approximately 145,000 USD was awarded to five organizations in order to provide learning opportunities to 150 faculty managers, 140 teachers and 40 specialists and researchers.

In Round 6 of 2012, the two organizations expect to provide similar funding to Vietnamese organizations who have been striving for innovations in their teaching and learning activities and have sufficient capacity to implement their desired projects./.
