Literary and Artistic contest 2021 "Land and People of Binh Duong" announce awards for high-quality works

The Provincial Literary and Arts Association has announced the results of the 5th Literary and Artistic contest 2021 with the theme "Land and People of Binh Duong".

This year's competition attracted the participation of 47 authors with 143 works in three categories: Prose, poetry and music. As a result, the organizers selected and awarded 25 high-quality works. In particular, Nguyen Minh Ngoc Ha's work named “Dáng hình mẹ thân thương” won the first prize of poetry genre. Prose category had no first and second prizes, third prize was given to Phan Duc Nam for “Mai tứ quý”, Phan Hai with “Thanh xuân trở lại” and Nguyen Que with “Nghĩa nặng tình thâm”. In the music category, there was no first prize, second prize was awarded to Nguyen Van Luan with song "Mẹ Bình Dương” set music from a poetry of Trăng Khuyết.

Due to the Covid-19, the Provincial Literary and Arts Association gave awards in the form of bank transfer or by post. The contest was to bring together more new literary and artistic works to serve political tasks, while meeting the demand for literary and art enjoyment, discovering new writing and composing talents in Binh Duong, supplementing the creative human resource of the province. The content of works was to praise the homeland, nature, people, potentials and strengths of Binh Duong in the development process, building Binh Duong into a smart, civilized and beautiful city.
