Quality of human resources improved
Since 2016, North Tan Uyen district has implemented the local Party Committee’s Program No.25-Ctr/HU dated June 16, 2016 on human resource development for the 2016-2010 period.

Accordingly, the district has concentrated on giving training for managerial officials and laborers at requirements of the local socio-economic development for the 2016-2020 period. As planned till 2020, the district will build up a highly skilled workforce in line with the local economic structure and at requirements of the local socio-economic development. The rate of the local laborers trained will be 58%, equivalent to 29,000 people, up 8,200 compared to that of 2015.
It is predicted that the district’s population till 2020 will be around 72,000 people. There will be around 50,000 laborers, including 27,000 agricultural laborers and 23,000 non-agricultural ones, up 70.8% compared to that of 2015. For State employees, there will be 209 at district level, 230 at communal level together with 775 managerial officials, teachers and around 236 health workers.
The district has also given vocational training on animal husbandry and cultivation for rural laborers; opened training courses on cooperative, business administration and relevant legal documents. In addition, the district has strived to reach targets of having 100% of State employees with college and university level till 2020…
Tran Thu Minh Hanh, Vice-Chairwoman of North Tan Uyen district’s People’s Committee said that after five years of establishment, the district has built a perfect infrastructure system; made the restructuring of agriculture in the right direction; promoted mass sports-cultural activities; obtained good results in terms of public healthcare, education…with the local political system strengthened.
Upholding role of entire political system
Over the past time, North Tan Uyen district made efforts in improving the quality of the local Party, government and mass organizations and upholding their role in new-style rural construction; enhancing the quality of public administrative services; ensuring gender equality and preventing family violence…The district’s People’s Committee also promulgated a plan on maintaining and innovating the national-standard TCVN ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management ...
So far, the district has continued making investment in material facilities for the local schools. The whole district is now home to 17 out of 25 schools with material facilities at national standards. And there are also 14 out of 25 schools meeting national standards.
The district has also paid more attention to public healthcare, step by step meeting the local people’s demand for medical treatment and examination. In the first half of 2019, there were no reports on dangerous diseases and food poisoning cases. There are now more than 95% of the local people joining healthcare insurance. Noticeably, a project on the district’s health center for the phase 1 with 60 beds has been submitted into provincial People’s Committee for approval. It is expected to be built at the end of July. Whilst, the district’s cultural-sports center project is expected for completion at the quarter 3 of 2019….
In the coming time, the district will continue paying attention to enhancing the quality of propaganda work and promoting new-style rural construction emulation movements; frequently disseminate effective models on new-style rural construction via the mass media…The district will also further build up a green, clean and nice living environment; propagandize a set of advanced criteria on new-style rural construction, contributing to raising people’s awareness and action, upholding socialization in this field…
Thai Thanh Binh, Chairman of the district’s People’s Committee cum Head of the district’s Steering Board of New-style Rural Construction affirmed that the district’s major task from now to year-end is that it will be recognized as a new-style rural district under the province’s advanced criteria. The district will also further perfect the local major infrastructure system at people’s demand for production and daily life. In addition, the district will hasten the progress of construction of works on its health center and cultural-information center, contributing to fulfilling criteria of new-style rural construction under the PM’s Decision No.558 dated April 5, 2016; complete the planning for adjustment of new-style rural construction in communes…
