Late December 26, Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Thu Dau Mot University, the Southern Institute of Social Sciences and the War Remnants Museum gathered at Thu Dau Mot University to implement a plan on organization of the national seminar on “Dien Bien Phu and Geneve Accord-Historical matters” which is slated from May 2 and 4, 2014.

The seminar will focus on the matters of Vietnamese army and people’s struggle against invaders, international relationship and support to Vietnam during the struggle against invaders, the southern region with the Dien Bien Phu victory, the historical value of the Dien Bien Phu victory…This is part of activities marking the 60th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory and the signing of Geneve Accord.

As planned, participating delegates will visit some places in Binh Duong, including Binh Duong’s historical relics, revolutionary bases in the war time; traditional craft villages and production facilities…
