On the working session with Department of Education and Training late August 13, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Le Thanh Cung made evaluations and reminded the department of to-do works. For the time to come, the department is required to coordinate with districts, towns, and the city to invest local budget into installation and repairs of schooling facilities including restrooms. He also agreed upon improvement of education quality in subjects of computer science and foreign languages in the school year of 2012-2013 with an estimated student population of 262,050 across the province.Meanwhile, the work of student recruiting to preschools and elementary schools shall be maintained thoroughly together with the allocation of junior high graduates to public schools.About 1,200 teacher applicants out of 1,659 have been approved while the remaining is pending for second stage consideration.Preparing for a new school year, the province has completed 22 school constructions and 8 more constructions shall be handed over by the end of December.
