Early June 10, the Red Cross Society and Study Promotion Society of Lai Thieu ward’s Nguyen Trai quarter in Thuan An town awarded 38 scholarships worth VND4.43mln, including books, notebooks, cash…, to the local poor-but-excellent pupils. 

Delivery of gifts to poor-but-excellent pupils

The local Red Cross Society also presented 2 wheelchairs worth VND7.2mln to Truong Van Hoang and Khanh Ngoc while offering 11 gifts worth VND1.65mln to other disable people. Society head Ngo Thi An said: “The donation is annually realized by the society to offer help to poor-but-excellent pupils and those with difficult circumstance…”.
