Tan Uyen, North Tan Uyen open Phu Dong sports festival

Tan Uyen town’s Division of Education-Training has just kicked off the Phu Dong sports festival for the 2018-2019 academic year, which will last until December 25, 2018.

This year’s sports festival absorbs more than 950 athletes from 16 primary schools and 9 secondary schools across the town. They will compete in 10 events: table tennis, volleyball, basketball, badminton, athletics, football, chess, swimming, tug-of-war and shuttle cocking.

*North Tan Uyen district’s Division of Education-Training has also just held a ceremony to open the Phu Dong sports festival for the 2018-2019 academic year.

This year’s sports festival attracts 800 athletes from primary schools, secondary and high schools in the district. They will compete in 7 events: athletics, swimming, shuttle cocking, chess, volleyball, football and tug-of-war. After the opening ceremony, they took part in the events: tug-of-war, boys and girls’100m, 200m, 400m and 1,500m marathon.
