Vietnam runners-up of int’l futsal tourney

Vietnam finished second at the recent CFA International Futsal Tournament in China.

Vietnam celebrate finishing second at the CFA International Futsal Tournament which concluded in China on June 24.

Vietnam beat New Zealand 7-0 in the last match on June 24 to become runners-up with six points after three matches. Russia took the trophy with nine points.

Earlier, Vietnam defeated China 4-0 and lost to world silver medallists Russia 6-2.

The three-day event featured four teams, namely New Zealand, Russia, Vietnam and China.

The team returned home on June 25 to prepare for the upcoming National HDBank Futsal Championship’s final round.
