Coordination in ecotourism development

Further implementing the Project on development of a specialized area on growing fruit trees in association with ecotourism, Thanh Tuyen commune in Dau Tieng district has so far formed up 193 hectares of orchard.

There are now 9 out of 37 fruit trees-growing households winning VietGAP certificates and 13 mangosteens-growing households in Thanh An, Thanh Tuyen communes reaching the registration certificate of “Dau Tieng mangosteen” collective trademark. The sci-tech project of “Application of sci-tech advancements in developing the model of intensive farming for citrus fruit trees like green-skin pomelos, oranges, tangerines…under VietGAP standards have been checked before acceptance. This is the condition for the district to enhance the quality of fruit trees, contributing to popularizing the local tourism.
