Craft village development combined with ecotourism

To develop Tuong Binh Hiep lacquer craft village in combination with eco-tourism, create favorable conditions for lacquer businesses to develop production and preserve traditional lacquer of the locality, Provincial People's Committee approved the policy for Thu Dau Mot City People's Committee to be in charge and formulate the scheme "Preserving, maintaining and developing Tuong Binh Hiep lacquer craft village in combination with tourism in the city". The project is currently being developed by Thu Dau Mot Economic Office and consulted departments and branches. Then it will be submitted to the competent authority for approval.

In order to promote the development of Tuong Binh Hiep lacquer craft village, in the coming time, provincial agriculture and rural development sector shall implement solutions to preserve and develop lacquer craft villages; at the same time, linking and integrating activities to support the development of handicraft villages in combination with ecotourism through activities such as: one product per commune (OCOP program), fruit tree development associated with ecotourism project.
