Provincial tourist attractions to be crowded with visitors during Lunar New Year 2019

In first days of Lunar New Year 2019, a large number of tourists flocked to Binh Duong. Averagely, every day, tourist destinations in the province attracted thousands of visitors.

Dai Nam tourist area was one of the places that attracted many tourists during Tet holidays 2019. Dai Nam tourist area organized many attractive programs, such as a multi-color food festival at Dai Nam Walking Street from Jan 1 to 10; show of unicorn, dragon dances; music programs brought together famous music stars from Ho Chi Minh City...

Binh Duong Flower Street attracts many visitors.  

Particularly, Dai Nam Racecourse held competitions and offered special performances from Jan 1 to 6, with two competitions at 11:00 and 16:00, including interesting contents such as horse racing, Greyhound dog racing, motor racing, Go Kart racing, Jetski Flyboard performances...

Meanwhile, at Thuy Chau eco-tourism area (Di An town), Dau Tieng Reservoir - Cau mountain, Din Ky, Phuong Nam Resort also attracted a large tourist numbers. Dinh Van Hien, representative of Din Ky tourist area, said that not only on Tet holidays, during the year, this tourist area had many programs and plans to best serve visitors.

Beside tourist areas, Binh Duong Flower Street (Thu Dau Mot City), with the theme "Binh Duong radiant spring colors", also absorbed many people to visit and enjoy. In addition, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism hosted a thematic exhibition "Binh Duong Lacquer – An imprint of a hundred years" at Provincial Museum to serve people coming for sightseeing and learning about culture and history. According to the organizers, the exhibition attracted many visitors including many foreigners, who are living and working in Binh Duong.

Service prices are stable

On Tet holidays, temples and pagodas, like Ba Thien Hau, Tay Tang, Hoi Khanh, Linh Khong Dan, in the province were also crowded with thousands of tourists. From dawn of the first day of the Lunar New Year, thousands of pilgrims visited Ba Thien Hau Pagoda (Thu Dau Mot City). For many years, Ba Thien Hau Pagoda is a famous religious destination to many people inside and outside the province at the beginning of the year.

It is worth noting that service prices of parking, catering, and entertainments in the province during Lunar New Year 2019 were stable compared to normal day. Some restaurants in the province charged 20% higher than prices on normal day, but with in-advance notices to customers. Nguyen Anh Thao, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, said that she was very pleased with enthusiastic attitude, reasonable services of catering and entertainment services in Binh Duong on Tet holidays. This made Binh Duong more impressive to tourists.

In addition to tourist attractions in the province, shopping centers such as Aeon, Becamex, Co.opmart, Big C supermarket in Binh Duong also organized many spring programs, for example, offering lucky money worth up to VND200,000 and many other sale promotions...
