Binh Duong will further build up a good living environment with harmony between economic growth and environmental protection; make up good coordination on requirements of environmental protection in zoning and developing projects; continue improving the quality of the environment in urban and residential areas; be proactive to combat with climate change during the 2016-2020 period.

To achieve the above-mentioned objectives, the province will strive to reach and exceed all targets on the monitoring and assessment of environmental protections till 2020 under the National Strategy on Environmental Environment to 2020 with visions to 2030. Particularly, the province will get 100% of facilities causing serious environmental pollution absolutely handled; 100% of industrial parks, compounds equipped with waste water treatment system meeting environmental standards.
