Thuan An town’s People’s Committee has just organized a ceremony to award 206 scholarships worth VND500,000 each to 206 poor-but-excellent pupils at town-based primary, secondary, high schools, universities and colleges in 2013 (photo), contributing to helping them overcome difficulties and enjoy a happy Tet. 

At the ceremony, 14 enterprises and individuals donated VND125mln to Thuan An town’s Child Support Fund, helping the local children with difficult circumstances rise up in life. It is known that the town’s Child Support Fund awarded 851 scholarships worth VND 376mln to needy pupils in the 2008 and 2013 period.
