Tuoi Tre Newspaper and SCG have not started till May 30 to receive documents applying for “Sharing a dream” scholarship. For the year 2012 across localities of Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Binh Phuoc, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Tay Ninh, Binh Thuan, and Ha Noi, about 400 scholarship packages at the cost of VND 3 million each will be offered to excellent high school students who are in difficulty situation and respectful to their parents.The application includes introductory writing about situation the applicant is facing, their filial piety to parents, learning desire, and personal efforts to reach for dreams.Mr. Dhep Vongvanich, Vietnam SCG Executive Director, informed that the group has offered 1,800 scholarship packages ever since 2007 at the cost of VND 4 billion to support high school students in 7 Dong Nam Bo provinces and Ha Noi to pursue their dreams.So as to encourage students who have passed entrance examination thanks to the support of this scholarship, SCG also offers one special package of VND 4 million to the best passing student. The scholarship awarding ceremony will be held in Dong Xoai, Binh Phuoc Province in July 2012.
