6th provincial sports festival opens

A ceremony to open the 6th provincial Sports Festival 2022 took place on the evening of April 15.

The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation; Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of  provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Loc Ha, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee of the Sports Festival; members of provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of provincial People's Committee, departments, agencies and sectors in the province.

The opening ceremony was started with a procession of the national flag, Uncle Ho's portrait and a parade of agencies, departments and sports delegations attending the festival. Right after the main rituals, 3 typical athletes of the province’s sports sector, namely Truong Quoc Hung (Muay), Lai Ly Huynh (chess) and Le Thi Hong (Karate) performed a torch relay ceremony to enter the ceremony ground. Here, the torch was transferred to Mr. Loi to conduct the lighting ceremony of the 6th provincial Sports Festival 2022.

Speaking at the sports festival, Nguyen Loc Ha, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee of the Sports Festival sent his best wishes to all delegates and announced the opening of the 6^th provincial  sports festival 2022.
