Provincial Department of Education and Training yesterday announced the result of the 2011-2012 high-school graduation exam.

Accordingly, the province had 6,060 pupils successfully passing the high-school graduation exam, or 98.87% of total and 8.1% higher than the previous school year. There were 207 pupils with good result and 1,307 others with moderately good result. Nguyen Vo Phuong Mai of Hung Vuong Specialized High School came first in the exam with a total score of 57 for six subjects.

The whole province also had 11 high schools with 100% of pupils passing the graduation exam, including Vo Minh Duc, Di An, Binh An, Tan Phuoc Khanh, Thai Hoa, Hung Vuong, Phan Boi Chau, Tay Nam, Petrus Ky, Phan Chu Trinh and Viet Anh.

Besides, there were 793 pupils at province-based continuation schools passing the graduation exam or 49.71% of total.
