She was a teacher of Vo Truong Toan secondary school in Di An town. Due to her family condition, teacher Tran Nu Qui moved to work at Dinh Hoa secondary school in TDM City from the 2003-2004 school year. At the new school, she has continued to prove her teaching capability. Ms. Qui is not only a proficient teacher, but also a friend of her pupils. Because of her gentleness and kindness, pupils usually talk to her to confide their feelings. She always takes care of pupils having difficult family circumstance, and suggests helps from the school so that these pupils do not have to give up their study. She remembered, in the last school year, there was a male pupil usually going to school in a bad mood and with dirty hands. Thus she came to his house to find out the reason. Then she knew that his family had just moved here. The family consisted of 6 people and had to live in a tiny lodging room. His mother had just had a new baby. The pupil had to work as a bricklayer with his father to earn money. He was going to give up his study. Then she reported this to her school. The pupil received material and spiritual helps from the school and did not have to leave school. Ms. Qui said, a teacher has to not only convey knowledge to pupils but also help pupils overcoming their difficult circumstances to go to school. Due to her teaching experiences, Ms. Qui has achieved excellently the first prize of the Good Teacher Contest in the 2003-2004 school year organized by TDM City Education - Training Bureau.
