Activities celebrate August Revolution and National Day

Binh Duong has got animated with many cultural and sports activities to mark the 67th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day (September 2).

Particularly, provincial Cultural Center organized an art performance themed “To quoc yeu thuong” (Beloved country) on the evening of August 18. The 60-minute program included 8 singing and dancing items together a play named “Con ma o suoi da” (A ghost at stream). All items were in praise of Vietnamese people and army’s tradition of fighting foreign invaders for national independence and the province’s achievements in the renewal period.  

A special art performance celebrating August Revolution and National Day organized by TDM city’s Mobile Information Team

Also on the evening of August 18, TDM city’s Mobile Information Team held an art performance in front of Phu Cuong ward’s People’s Committee to mark the 67th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day (September 2). It is known that the city’s Mobile Information Team will further organize art performances in some communes and wards of the city.

Along with an art performance to be held on August 26, Di An town’s Culture-Information-Sports Center will kick off the 2012 Di An football tournament with the participation of 20 football teams. According to Nghiem Van Khanh, Deputy Director of the town’s Culture-Information-Sports Center, this football tournament is a practical activity to celebrate August Revolution and National Day while creating favorable conditions for the local youths to share mutual experience in the event of football…

Provincial Library and its affiliates will also organize exhibitions on the occasion of the 67 anniversary of August Revolution and National Day (September 2).
