Ben Cat defends championship title at provincial football tournament for children

The provincial football tournament-Becamex IJC cup 2018 has just concluded at provincial Physical Training-Sports Center’s Sporting Event Hall.

The final match between Ben Cat and Thuan An towns took place very animatedly. With the score of 1-0, Ben Cat town successfully defended the championship title. North Tan Uyen district took third position after defeating Tan Uyen town the score of 5-3.

The organizers also awarded the best goalkeeper prize to Nguyen Tran Hao of Thuan An town. The best football player prize went to Do Thanh Long of Tan Uyen town. It is known that this year’s tournament absorbed 9 football teams. They were divided into 2 groups to play in a round-robin format to sort out the best 2 teams for the final.
