Provincial Charity Club for Children with Cancer launched

On the morning of November 14, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union held a launching ceremony for the "Charity Club for Children with Cancer in Binh Duong Province". Ms. Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; and leaders of departments, branches and sectors in the province attended the program.

At the ceremony, the organizing committee announced the Decision to establish, the list of members of the "Charity Club for Children with Cancer in Binh Duong Province" and introduced the Executive Board. The club consists of 26 members, chaired by Ms. Vo Thi Bach Yen, President of the Provincial Women's Union.

The Club is a voluntary social organization whose mission is to organize activities to support and care for children with cancer in difficult circumstances, helping them to feel secure in their treatment and go to school like other children. The main activities of the Club include supporting medical treatment costs, monthly living expenses, giving gifts and scholarships to children on national holidays.

On this occasion, the Club's Executive Board also presented a letter of thanks to the sponsors who supported the 2024 expenses for disadvantaged children with cancer. The total amount of support is more than 340 million VND, of which gifts and support money at the ceremony for children with cancer is 115 million VND.
