Founded in 2003, Ben Cat district music-sport club for elderly has so far lured over 150 local elderly people. Joining in the club, the old people not only enjoy activities of entertainment, exercise, poetry composition and so on but share living experiences, joys and sorrows and among others.

In addition, the club has held exchanges with societies for the elderly at all levels to learn experiences and create relations. The club members have various situations but they have a common ambition of art.

Nguyen Xuan Sac from Lai Uyen commune shared “joining in the club, I feel my life is more significant, happier and better. The club is like my second family”.

To maintain the club’s activities, the club members set out plans to create funds. The club members produce a poetry collection and attend the provincial singing festival for the elderly. Especially, the club has 3 elderly people winning high prizes at tai-chi contests.
