Binh Duong Customs increase state budget revenue by attracting businesses coming for customs procedures

From beginning of the year to 15 Nov 2017, Binh Duong Customs Department collected VND11,209 billion of revenue, up 101% against the target of VND11,200 billion. The department strives to achieve the second target of VND12.9 trillion this year. The total number of enterprises coming for customs procedures was 5,431, up 10% over the same period; of which more than 2,500 foreign invested enterprises.

To achieve this result, according to Binh Duong Customs Department’s leaders, the unit always pay attention to relationship development between customs and enterprises; consider attracting enterprises as a long-term and regular task in the modernization strategy, thereby contributing to the achievement of budget collection target in a sustainable way. In addition, the department has maintained a good relationship with other agencies in the province to catch up with the newly established enterprises in order to actively contact and support enterprises in import and export activities.
