Socio-economic indicators increased over the same period

On April 25, Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired the 59th meeting of Provincial People's Committee. Nguyen Van Danh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Thi Kim Lan, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of departments, branches, branches and districts, towns and cities in the province attended the meeting.

According to reports at the meeting, basic socio-economic indicators in April 2024 all increased year-on-year. Namely, the province's industrial production index (IIP) was estimated to increase 9% compared to the previous month and increase 12.3% compared to the same period in 2021.  Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue are estimated at VND 27,906 billion. Export turnover is estimated at nearly US$3.1 billion, accumulated amount over four months reached US$10.954 million, up 15.6% year-on-year... At the meeting, presentations were also made on some internal adjustments of public investment planning for 2024; the extension of implementation and disbursement time of public investment plans; Specific spending levels for compensation, support, and resettlement when the State recovers land; project to develop social housing and worker housing for the period 2021-2025, orientation for 2030...

Concluding the meeting, Vo Van Minh asked relevant units, departments and branches to continue implementing groups of solutions on land resources together with the province's housing development plan, update and integrate it into district-level planning; focus on solving related procedures for investors; resolutely withdraw slow projects. Regarding the procurement of equipment and supplies for health and education, the Chairman of Provincial People's Committee recommended the assignment of localities to proactively and promptly purchase and meet needs of the grassroots level...
