Binh Duong excellently tops 2016 open southeastern Judo tournament

The 2016 open Southeastern Judo tournament organized by provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just taken place at provincial Physical Training-Sports Center’s sporting event hall.

This year’s tournament absorbed nearly 100 athletes from 13 provinces and cities nationwide. They competed in 4 combat events: men’s singles with weight categories from below 50kg to 100kg and above, women’s singles with weight categories from below  42kg to 78kg and above, men’s team and women’s team.

Finally, Binh Duong topped the tournament with 9 gold medals, 1 silver medal, 5 bronze medals. Soc Trang ranked second with 4 gold medals, 4 silver medals, 2 bronze medals while Ba Ria-Vung Tau was third with 3 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 3 bronze medals.
