In 2023, the Southeastern region welcomed and served more than 65.3 million visitors, an increase of 18.55% over the same period last year. The region’s tourism revenue was more than VND180.5 trillion, an increase of 22.13% compared to 2023. The number of tourists accounted for 54.2% of the total number of tourists in the country. In the work of building and developing new tourism products in 2023, provinces and cities in the Southeastern region focused on developing many new products, put them into operation and connected in tours in the region.
