According to the results of implementing digital transformation assessment criteria in the first 9 months of 2023, the province had digital infrastructure with fiber optic cable coverage to quarters and hamlets.
Accordingly, the province had 100% of communes with specialized data transmission networks; 3,666 4G base transceiver stations (BTSs) serving 4 million subscribers (including 3.2 million subscribers using data, or 85.45%, ranking fifth nationwide).
So far, the province has has 1 data center providing services for digital transformation and smart cities with 7 operating platforms. The Intelligent Operation Center (IOC) has connected data with 3 ministries and central sectors, 17 out of 18 departments and sectors, 4 out of 6 vertical agencies in the province with 15 groups of operating indicators updated daily, weekly, monthly, 12 index groups updated quarterly and annually. The province has also deployed all 9 district-level IOCs, decentralizing use to all 91 commune-level People's Committees; implemented the application of provincial Digital Government; realized open data portal and promulgated the local open data catalogue.
