Binh Duong Int’l Three-Cushion Billiards Tourney kicks off

A ceremony to open the Binh Duong International Three-Cushion Carom Billiards Tournament BTV-Becamex IJC Cup 2018 was held at provincial Convention and Exhibition on the morning of August 16. Attending the event were Nguyen Thanh Liem, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee together with representatives of sectors, departments in the province.

This year’s tournament has absorbed 64 cueists from Vietnam, the Republic of Korea (RoK), Japan, and the Netherlands. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr.Liem stressed that with new features, this year’s tournament will continue being successful, actively contributing to the development of the three-cushion billiards event of the country and be the foundation for domestic cueists to fly further in the world arena.

After the opening ceremony, cueists entered first matches at the tournament. There are some noticeable matches between Seon Hyun Min of RoK and Truong Minh Duc of Binh Duong, Celtin Volkan of the Netherlands and Nguyen Van Phuoc of HCM city, Le Phuc Thien of Binh Duong and Le Dinh Si of Binh Dinh, Phan Van Hung of Da Nang and Yoneyama Satoro of Japan, Miyashita Takao of Japan and Trieu Tien Phong of Dak Lak, Pham Quoc Tuan of Binh Duong and Nguyen Cong Thanh of HCM city, Nguyen Hong Ly of Gia Lai and Kang Dong Koung of RoK, Tran Quyet Chien of HCM city and Phan Van Trung of Phu Yen…
