Binh Duong ranks fifth at national road race cycling champs

The 2017 National Road Race Cycling Championships, co-held by Binh Duong province, the General Department of Sports-Physical Training and Vietnam Sports Bicycle-Motorbike Federation, has just concluded after 7 days of competition.

With its strong point from women’s events, An Giang excellent topped the tournament with 9 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 1 bronze medal. HCM city ranked second with 5 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 3 bronze medals. Ha Noi was third with 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 1 bronze medal. Dong Thap was fourth while the host team Binh Duong took fifth position with 1 gold medal and 2 silver medals.

The remaining positions went to the Army with 3 silver medals, 4 bronze medals; Can Tho with 2 silver medals, 2 bronze medals; Dong Nai and Vinh Long without medals.
