Binh Duong welcomes 1.7million tourists

Since early this year, the province has opportunely corrected and seriously handled infringements on the activity of welcoming tourists.

The province will further accelerate inspection, supervision over travel units, aiming to ensure tourists’ rights and interests while building up the image of a friendly and hospitable Binh Duong. The province will also brace up the local tourist sites to regularly improve the quality of services; tap new entertainment activities and organize attractive tourism programs to serve tourists in and out of the province.

In the first three months of 2017, the province welcomed 1.7million tourists, up 6.2% compared to last year’s corresponding period or 38.5% of the year’s plan. The sector’s total revenue during the period was VND400billion, up 12% against last year’s corresponding period or 31.7% of the year’s plan.
