Binh Duong wins gold at 2016 open “Don ca tai tu” festival of the southeastern region

The 2016 open “Don ca tai tu” (Amateur singing) festival of the southeastern region has just concluded at Binh Duong provincial Center for Culture and Cinema after two-days of fierce competition.

With the theme of “Sweet favor and beauty of the south”, the festival, which was co-held by the Department of Culture under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Binh Duong provincial People’s Committee, absorbed 11 art troupes from An Giang, Ben Tre, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Tay Ninh, Long An, Vinh Long, Tien Giang, Binh Duong, and Ho Chi Minh city. They performed special items in praise of the Party, Uncle Ho and homeland.

Eventually, art troupes of Binh Duong, An Giang, Vinh Long, Ba Ria-Vung Tau and Long An excellently won gold medals at the festival. The remaining six art troupes grasped silver medals. The organizers also awarded 14 gold medals and 13 silver ones to the best items at the festival.
