Binh Duong Young Taekwondo Championship 2011 opened at the provincial Sport Center’s sporting hall on July 27 with the participation of over 100 athletes from 7 districts and towns.

In the opening day, athletes competed in qualifying round and final round. As a result, Thu Dau Mot town won 2 gold, 2 silver medals whilst Tan Uyen ranked second with one gold, 2 silver and one bronze medal.

The championship will run till July 29.
