Ceremony in celebration of Hung Kings’ death anniversary in Binh Duong imbued with national cultural identities

*Provincial Support Center for Young Laborers commemorates Hung Kings’ death anniversary

The 2016 ceremony in celebration of the death anniversary of the Hung Kings took place at Hung Vuong specialize high school on the evening of April 16 (the tenth day of the third lunar month).

Attending the event were Nguyen Hong Sang, Director of provincial Department of Education and Training; Tu Xuan Son, Vice-Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of departments, sectors together with all staff, pupils of the school and locals.

This year’s ceremony was organized with enough traditional rituals featuring national cultural identities. Starting the ceremony, Nguyen Van Son, principle of the school reviewed the brief history of Hung Kings dynasty. And then, a series of traditional rituals took place in a solemn atmosphere. Finally, the school’s pupils presented “banh chung” (square sticky rice cake) to delegates with a goal of showing their tribute to the national ancestors while extending best wishes to all people on the national great holiday.

This was also the chance for descendants to memorize the great merit of Hung Kings in order to further join hands to defend and build up a more and more prosperous nation.

*The same day, provincial Support Center for Young Laborers held a ceremony to mark the death anniversary of Hung Kings and a journey “Connecting young workers” at Dai Nam Van Hien tourist complex.

The two events absorbed more than 350 young workers who are members of the center’s “Connecting young workers” club. Here, they took part in a great festival on Hung Kings’ audience organized by the tourism complex’s directorate. They also burned incense for national heroes and ancestors.

On this occasion, they also had the chance to visit the tourist complex’s safari and artificial beach free of charge while taking part in a lot of interesting folk games.

The above significant activities aimed to educate members of the “Connecting young workers” club about the values of fine traditional culture while creating a useful playground for them.
