Coaches and athletes with outstanding achievements in 2018 commended and rewarded

On January 24, at Provincial Center for Culture and Cinemas, a ceremony took place to commend and reward coaches and athletes at the 8^th National Sports Festival and sports tournaments in 2018. Attending the ceremony was Dang Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee.

Dang Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, awarded certificates of merit to outstanding coaches and athletes in 2018 of the province.

With the achievement of 18 gold, 19 silver, and 39 bronze medals, Binh Duong Sports was ranked 10th out of 65 teams of provinces and cities participating in the 8^th National Sports Festival. At the ceremony, the Ministry of Culture - Sports and Tourism conferred certificates of merit on Binh Duong province for its 10^th rank and successfully organization of sports tournaments at all levels in 2018. On this occasion, outstanding coaches and athletes bringing medals for Binh Duong also received merit certificates and rewards for their contributions to provincial sports.

In addition, Binh Duong Construction’s volleyball team with the 2018 A-class championship and the promotion to the national strong team in 2019 also received certificates of merit and rewards from Provincial People's Committee. Becamex Binh Duong football team with the 2018 National Football championship and 7^th rank in V.League 2018 also received merit certificates and rewards of Provincial People's Committee at this ceremony. This was the recognition of provincial leaders for coaches and athletes’ contributions to Binh Duong sports in 2018.
