Colorful New Year

On these New Year's days, Binh Duong province seems to be more lively and brilliant, because of decorated lamps, colorful flowers on roads, and local cheerful people welcoming the spring. Along with recreation activities, provincial localities have organized many music “parties” to meet the people’s need.

In moments of closing the old year and welcoming the new year, celebrating the 18^th the province reestablishment day (01/01/1997 - 01/01/2015), main roads in the center of Binh Duong New City, administrative centers the districts, towns, and the city were decorated with LED lights, colorful flags in order to attract all classes of people to see and enjoy. On the New Year’s Eve, the number of people took to the streets to welcome New Year was quite huge. But all people enjoyed the night safely, due to people’s awareness of compliance with Highway Traffic Laws and efforts of the police force.

At the outdoor stage of Binh Duong New City Park, many people came to enjoy a cultural show with performances of famous artists from HCM City. Audiences had a chance to enjoy various performances in the show. That was the joyful sound of drums and boisterous lion dances of Gia Thang Duong Club in the show “Binh Duong – New hometown” taking place at provincial Cultural - Film Center.

New Year atmosphere was also vibrant at Thanh Le Cultural Park. A firework show colored the sky of the New Year’s Eve. Hoang Thi Hong Linh said: “Binh Duong province organized many recreation activities for the people, especially the youth, on New Year’s Eve. I hope that the province will organize more fun, healthy, safe and economical playgrounds for people during Lunar New Year”

The atmosphere welcoming the New Year was also animated in provincial localities. A cultural show at six-way crossroad of TDM City performed by artists of TDM City Culture and Information - Sports Center and singers, comedy groups from HCM City attracted a lot of audiences.

At Bo Ke Park in Lai Thieu ward, Thuan An town, municipal Culture and Information - Sports Center organized a music “garden” for local people. According to Thuan An town Culture and Information - Sports Center’s Head Nguyen Tan Dung, the show comprised various genres, such as: dancing, trio, quartet, group singing, hip hop dance... to serve local people.

With many special cultural activities, the New Year 2015 is expected to bring many joys with success and happiness to all people. Everybody also hope that happiness would come in the New Year 2015.
