A Vietnamese delegation from the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee’s Commission for Communication has paid a working visit to Mexico, to boost ties with the Labour Party of Mexico (PT).During the visit from June 30- July 4, the delegation led by deputy head, Vu Ngoc Hoang met with PT Secretary General, Alberto Anaya Gutiérrez.Both sides briefed each other on the socio-economic situations in their respective countries, impacts and trends of the global economic downturn and recent activities of each party, especially the dissemination of information about State and government policies and guidelines.They noted with satisfaction the fine relations between the CPV and the PT, which have been consolidated through practical activities launched in 2012 and in the first half of this year.The two sides agreed upon new measures and activities aimed at strengthening all-round cooperation between Vietnam and Mexico .They agreed to hold the first bilateral exchange on ideological work in Mexico and this activity will held in rotation annually.Gutiérrez said the Mexico-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Group for the 2012-2018 term will debut in mid-September this year.On the occasion, the PT donated 50 wheelchairs to Vietnamese Agent Orange (AO) victims.Hoan thanked the PT for its valuable support to Vietnamese people including AO victims and invited the PT delegation to visit Vietnam.Mexico is the second leg of the Vietnamese delegation tour in Latin America after Cuba.
